Obama is not stupid; he is a cynical ideologue with a chip on his shoulder. It is all those Jews (not just in J Street) who voted for him despite Obama's close assosiation with Jew-haters like Reverend Dr Jeremiah Right, Rashid Khalidi et al still ) who are. And many still support their hero after all the Israel-bashing he has done.

That's quite possible. Anyway, for any practical purpose the image of Obama (invented, elaborated and at last broadcasted by his Jewish and non-Jewish team) and the person of Obama can be considered the same. For me, at least.
